GC In My Pocket

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

GC In My Pocket is a tool that helps homeowners run their own remodel. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

  • Your account. The email address you sign up with, and a password we store in scrambled (hashed) form — we can't read it.
  • Your project information. Whatever you choose to put in the app — budgets, bids, receipts, photos, notes, schedules, and decisions for your remodel.
  • Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card. We never see or store your full card number — only basic details like the last four digits and whether a payment succeeded.
  • Basic usage data. Standard technical information (like which pages load and rough device type) so we can keep the app working and improve it.

How we use it

  • To run the app for you and keep your project organized.
  • To process your subscription and send you account-related messages.
  • To fix problems and make the product better.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Where your information lives

Your information is stored securely with trusted infrastructure providers that host our app, database, and file storage. We use reputable services (including Stripe for payments) and limit access to what's needed to run GC In My Pocket.

Your choices

  • Export. You can export your project records at any time.
  • Delete. You can ask us to delete your account and your data — just email us.
  • Questions. Reach a real person any time at hello@gcinmypocket.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, when appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
